We work with manufacturers and commercial operations across South Africa that need plastic and packaging waste dealt with properly.
Disposal, not just collection
Plenty of operators will take waste away. Fewer will account for what happened to it afterwards, and fewer still will treat branded packaging as something that has to be destroyed rather than moved. That gap is where this business sits. We are not a recycling centre and we do not want to be one.
We work with companies whose waste carries their name on it, which changes what responsible disposal actually means. Where the material allows, multiple plastic types are processed into plastic oil through our partnerships, so a portion of what we collect is put to use rather than buried.
Every load is quoted on its own merits and there is no fixed-term contract. Volumes are never the same from one month to the next, and an agreement that pretends otherwise helps nobody.

Why we are called EcoSharps
The business started in medical waste, which is where the name came from. It has since moved entirely to plastic and packaging waste for industry, and we no longer take healthcare risk waste of any kind. The name stayed. The work changed.
